Founded in 2016, the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Informatics (FESI ) at Hassiba Benbouali University of Chlef, consisting of five departments: The Department of Mathematics, the Department of Physics, the Department of Chemistry, the Department of Informatics, and the Department of common trunk in Exact Sciences, Mathematics and
Informatics.
In Fall 2019 the faculty has 135 full-time faculty members, 75 technical and administrative staff members, 50 postgraduate students and over 2000 undergraduate students. Our faculty has the best student-to staff ratio (17 students per staff member) allowing us to create an interactive teaching environment.
The FESI has 3 student clubs, their focuses range from science and innovation to culture interests.
The faculty offers a rich and diversified programs namely 6 license programs, 9 master’s programs, and 2 doctorate programs. These programs not only meet the needs of students and the marketplace
but respond to the issues and opportunities of our region.
We are committed to furnish spectacular efforts to improve the quality of research, education and to engage with the
socio-economic world, as well as to help the FESI students achieve a sense of well-being.
Our goal is to contribute to educating tomorrow’s leaders in science and to the sustainable development of our country.
Our ambition is to be the leading faculty in the region or among the best, this demands constant cooperation, attention, vision and dedication.
